CJ Sports NASCAR Talk:
Last season was without a doubt the ‘Year of the Quarterback.’ With that being said, a lot of pressure is one for QB’s thisyear, some more than others. Here’s my top 10 list of QB’s under the most pressure for the 2012-2013 season.
10. Carson Palmer - Oakland Raiders: I wouldn’t put Carson Palmer in my top 10 overall QB’s, but if you’re talking about top QB’s to watch this season, he makes the cut. Palmer was once thought to be the next Manning-like QB for the Cincinnati Bengals. That obviously didn’t work out. Now that he’s had a full offseason with his new team, it’ll be interesting to see if he can put up numbers like he did before his devistating knee injury.
9. Kevin Kolb - Arizona Cardinals: Again, in top 10 QB conversation, Kevin Kolb would be nowhere near this list. But with all troubles in Arizona, you can’t help but want to look at the stat at the end of the game to see how he did. The Cardinals front office gave Kolb a huge contract before he ever really proved anyt

Even though, we are still in the NFL preseason...you have probably seen those commercials for DirecTV featuring NFL star quarterbacks Eli and Peyton Manning along with hall-of-famer Deion Sanders:
The folks over at DirecTV have just released the awesome outtakes reel which show some rather notable screw-ups from the Manning Brothers and Prime Time himself:
The cadence rings out every time Peyton Manning is done decoding the defense and J.D. Walton is about to snap him the ball
Call it the Denver Broncos' unofficial mantra for 2012.
They're in quite the rush this year.
They're running the no-huddle at altitude. They're mixing the four-time MVP's precision passing prowess with...
I struggled initially with the concept of writing a comprehensive 2012 NFL regular season preview. How could I use one column space to decide Peyton Manning's impact in Denver, count Dez Bryan't security team members and say something about the Dolphins that doesn't include the words 'there's always next year'? It's a hard task, but I knew it had to be done.
Denver Broncos head coach John Fox pretty much got his Christmas present early in the form of Peyton Manning this off-season. However, Manning alone won’t work Christmas miracles, and Fox feels the entire team has a long way to go. After Manning lit up the 49er’s defense last week for two first quarter touchdowns, Fox reflected on his entire team’s performance. In an interview...
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- While Peyton Manning watched, Denver's reserves pulled out a wild one in the desert.
Manning and the rest of the Broncos' starters took the fourth game of the preseason off, and Denver got a 44-yard field goal from Matt Prater as the game ended to beat the Arizona Cardinals 16-13 on Thursday night.
Omar Bolden, a fourth-round draft pick from nearby...
The UCF Knights (1-0), led by their running game, played spoiler to the debut of new Akron head coach Terry Bowden by forcing 4 turnovers and finished 56-14 over the Akron Zips(0-1) on Thursday night.
UCF took the opening drive 73 yards and Sophomore QB Blake Bortles (13/16, 168, 3, 1) found newly converted TE Chris Martin (starting LT last year) on a 5 yard TD. Senior RB Latavius...
Oakland Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer told the Bay Area News Group that he has a lot of catching up to do with both Jacoby Ford and Denarius Moore as they work their way back from all the time they’ve missed while being injured.
“We need a ton of work together,” Palmer said Monday. “You can never get enough work with a guy, even if he’s played every rep and you’ve...
The Indianapolis Colts are ready to start over.
For the first time in 15 years, Peyton Manning isn't around. For the first time in more than a decade, the Colts are not expected to contend for a division title or make the playoffs.
Players understand this is reality for 2012, they just don't believe in using the r-word.
''I don't have rebuilding years in me...
So unless you’ve been dead and have recently been resurrected and for some reason felt the first thing you should do was come to our website, you’d have a good idea on how I feel about these two quarterbacks. Oh and thanks for the support! We are big fans of the Zombie community. You all have put out some really quality movies. All that said, I’ve been a strong proponent...

There are four more quarters of play for the Denver Broncos this preseason, then its for real. Sadly, its also four more quarters for nearly half the current roster, then its unemployment. [DenverBroncos.com & Denver Post]
With cut day rapidly approaching this Friday, Week 1 of the 2012 NFL season is also nearly here. Preparations for the Pittsburgh Steelers...
The third pre-season game of 2012, widely considered the most important one, is now history and it’s time to see how the Oakland Raiders’ offense performed against Detroit. Although the Lions are not known for their defense, but instead for their powerful offense, it was still a very good challenge for the Silver & Black [...]
The Oakland Raiders recently signed Roscoe Parrish after he was released by the San Diego Chargers and Parrish was signed for one reason that many may not readily see. It’s not because the Raiders are thin at wide receiver with the injuries to Denarius Moore and Jacoby Ford. It’s not because Parrish has always been [...]
The Oakland Raiders came out of the gate in 2011 seeming to be a legitimate threat. 4-2 in the first six games including a win over last year’s AFC South Division Champion Houston Texans. All they’d have to do is outlast the San Diego Chargers, the only other 4 win team in the division at the time. That’s when the first of a string of important injuries began to occur. ...
Here is your 2012 Fantasy Football Preview on the Oakland Raiders. This list features analysis on the wide receivers, running backs, quarterbacks, as well as the tight end position and the defense as a whole.
In addition, we mention the guys most likely to become the best sleeper, riskiest player, biggest bust, most valuable player, and the kicker, too.
A year ago, the Cincinnati Bengals were the odds on favorite to win the Andrew Luck sweepstakes. Their veteran quarterback, Carson Palmer, had sworn never to play for the organization again, leaving the offense to an untested second round pick, Andy Dalton. Their new offensive coordinator, Jay Gruden, had his greates successes in the Arena Football League and was installing a new...
