After Sunday’s big win over the Chargers, Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning was asked if he’s thinking about his future since it’s been reported that he’ll have to undergo a neck exam in March that could decide whether he plays next season. “It’s really not. What’s weighing on my mind is how soon I can get a Bud Light in my mouth. That’s priority number one,” said Manning via Ben Volin of he Boston Globe. The last thing Peyton needs to worry about is his neck. He needs to be focused on getting back to the Super Bowl. Need NFL Tickets? Loading... Peyton Manning’s seemingly complex audible calls have always been a big part of his game. The MVP quarterback calls out a million things before each play, and defenses have even said trying to study him is almost counterproductive because he’s always changing things. For instance, in the Denver Broncos’ playoff game against the San Diego […]
After Julius Thomas had a false start you could hear Peyton Manning yelling “f*cking Julius!”
Man those mics are picking up all the sound.
I wonder what he yelled at Eric Decker for letting the ball go off his chest and get intercepted.
Everyone remembers “GODDAMMIT DONALD!” from Peyton’s Colts days – that also happened in the divisional playoffs. But Peyton has long ago moved on. It was high time to find a new teammates whose mistake he could use as a reason to berate him on national television. And that new teammate is Julius Thomas, who earned Pey-Pey scorching wrath for committing a false start. ********* JULIUS![via]
The Denver Broncos tried to beat the New England Patriots less than two months ago by running the ball. It didn't work.

The San Diego Chargers can feel good about overachieving and making it to the divisional playoffs when hardly anyone thought they'd make the postseason under rookie coach Mike McCoy.
They also go into the offseason kicking themselves a bit over lost opportunities.

I’m pulling for a Seattle vs Denver Super Bowl at this point, though really only to validate my preseason selection.

I fully recognize there might be those out there who don’t want Peyton Manning to win another ring or who aren’t crazy about Pete Carroll or Jim Harbaugh or Bill Belichick.
I’m curious about what story lines you’re looking...
Going into the game, Peyton Manning had 39 touchdown passes and 0 interceptions in the red zone. His first red zone interception of the year was a hard earned one by San Diego Chargers linebacker Donald Butler, after a pass to Eric Decker was knocked away. Not too much Peyton could do about this one.
