Tips don’t usually come this good, but when you have a National Football League quarterback Peyton Manning visiting the restaurant where you work, then count your blessings, name them one by one. That was the song of a server at The Angus Barn in Raleigh, N.C..
Well, as it turned out, the server received 200 dollars tip on a 625-dollar bill and went about telling everybody about Manning’s generousity, posting a photo of the bill for all to see.
“This goes against every policy we have,” she told the Triangle Business Journal.
The photo showed sensitive information of Manning, that is, his credit card information. I’m sure even Manning would be concerned that such information is out there in the public domain. Bad image for the restaurant huh? The photo also showed an 18% gratuity on the bill, adding up to 739 dollars.
What a way to loose your job, with a superstar like Peyton Manning at the center of it. Quiet a story to tell your children and grandchildren. But seriously, what was he thinking? I guess the excitement got to him too much and he lost all sense, thinking that at his own discretion such information must be published for the whole world to see.
A word to the waiters, if you get a tip, please keep it to yourself!

The Manning Move…all a part of the master plan?
First off let me say this I am an Indianapolis Colts fan, always have been but for me Peyton Manning was the only quarterback I have known in a Colts uniform. I must say that the dealings on Wednesday really made me, well upset, and here is why. How is it that you let someone that has been committed day in and day out to your...
Justin Tuck expects Peyton Manning to make any team he signs for an instant NFL powerhouse. The New York Giants defensive end just hopes it's not a team in the NFC East.
The Indianapolis Colts avoided paying Manning a $28 million bonus by releasing the 35-year-old quarterback on Wednesday, and his list of suitors is looking long. Tuck is concerned about one potential destination...
With Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne now both on the market, there has been some talk of the duo shopping themselves as a package deal. Peyton probably won’t limit his options to teams that have interest in signing Reggie, but Wayne may do his best to follow Manning wherever he goes. In fact, it sounds like the former Colts receiver is already crossing his fingers that both can...
