The Philadelphia Eagles announced their 2012 regular season schedule Tuesday, as they will be highlighted in six nationally televised games (subject to change). The Eagles are slated to be on Sunday Night Football twice (Week 4 vs. the New York Giants and Week 13 at Dallas against the Cowboys).
“It’s always an exciting day around the NFL when the schedule is announced,” said Eagles head coach Andy Reid, according to the team’s press release. It looks to be another competitive slate of games for our football team this year and we’re hard at work now going through the process of getting ready for training camp.”
“The draft is right around the corner, our offseason conditioning program for the players is now in full swing, and the mini-camps and OTAs are coming up soon,” he added. “We’re excited about the energy around our football team and we’re looking forward to the opener at Cleveland.”

You can never have enough guys on your offense who have the ability to make big plays. I think the Eagles were have the opportunity to add a few more of these guys through the draft. One possibility is Arkansas wide receiver Joe Adams.
At 5-11 and 180 pounds, he’s a little bit bigger than DeSean Jackson but basically has the same frame. He has the same kind of speed as Jackson...

This time next week, the NFL draft will be over. We will know who will make up the 2012 draft class for the Philadelphia Eagles. But until then, speculation reaches a frenzy as experts, casual fans, and everyone in between tries to predict the Eagles moves.

ATLANTA- The Falcons are no longer satisfied with making due with what they have when it comes to their secondary.

“Can you feel that? Can you feel this that dog-gone beating in your chest? Can you feel what is about to happen out here on this field man?”
That Brian Dawkins pre-game speech given in the huddle to his then Eagles team mates has been recited by my kid to his teammates before just about every game he has played since 2008.

According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the reason Asante Samuel hasn’t been traded to the Atlanta Falcons has nothing to do with compensation, but rather his contract.
Samuel has agreed to redo his current deal, but he’s looking to keep most of the $10 million he’s set to earn for the 2012 season.
The Eagles want to unload Samuel before Thursday’s draft, but...
Former Washington Redskins general manager Vinny Cerrato made an appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio on Sunday night, per The Washington Post. He talked about what it was like in the war room on draft day.
One story that Cerrato brought up, was back in 2009 when the Redskins didn’t have a second round pick because of the Jason Taylor trade. He talked about how he almost traded...
There are two things that we know about our Philadelphia Eagles come draft time: they almost never select who the big-time analysts predict, and they are always looking to move up or down in the draft order. With the 2012 NFL Draft just two short days away, we're here to shed some light on who might be putting on an Eagles cap and jersey on Thursday night.
This year's draft...
The calendar says Howie Roseman will preside over his third NFL draft as general manager of the Philadelphia Eagles.
It's the first one he can really put his stamp on.
Roseman replaced Tom Heckert in January 2010, just a few months before the draft - when most of the scouting and grading of players already was complete. Last year, the lockout changed much of the landscape,...
Wanting to avoid overkill on Draft coverage but still open to new angles... that's the main message here as we near the MACH 10 finish line...An old Simon and Garfunkel album cover? Nope, it's Howie Roseman and Andy Reid in a recent presser shot...but just like every songwriting duo in the biz, Howie and Andy are looking for hits this week.First thought is--- the Draft format...
