A number of different publications ranked their 100 most valuable players in the National Football League. Michael Vick earned a spot on almost every list. So did Asante Samuel. And LeSean McCoy, DeSean Jackson, Jason Peters, Trent Cole, and Quintin Mikell appeared on some of the lists as well. But no player received a ranking as high as the one given by Pro Football Focus, which ranked one player as the fourth best player in the NFL in 2010. That player was defensive end Trent Cole and this is what they had to say: “Cole got some press this year for his performances, but he still doesn’t get the credit he’s due. People will note that he’s an impressive pass rusher (he’s beyond impressive) but they rarely give him his due for his all around game (I suspect because of his size.)
