At least the good people of Philadelphia will get about four free cups of coffee out of this NFL season. The Eagles went 4-12 last season, and with a new coach and virtually no new players of consequence, they figure to be just as bad this year. There is good news, though. Any time the Eagles happen to encounter an even more hapless opponent than themselves — San Diego, Tampa Bay, Oakland and Detroit seem like the best bets — their fans will score a free small coffee from Dunkin’ Donuts. Fly, Eagles, fly — to DD’s for a free cup o’ joe. Then make a second stop at Wawa for a breakfast Shorti, because those are the best. The Eagles open their 2013 season Monday night against the Redskins. Filed under: Headlines, NESN Staff, NFL, Philadelphia Eagles

According to CSNPhilly.com, Eagles quarterback Michael Vick was seen hobbling after last night’s win over the Redskins.
Vick had a great game, but took way too many shots and failed to protect himself, which isn’t a surprise given his injury history.
I find it really interesting that Eagles head coach Chip Kelly and Vick aren’t worried about him getting injured. Sadly enough...
Chip Kelly is a football maniac, and get this, he thinks his team can play faster.
While addressing the media today after getting his first victory as an NFL coach, Kelly said that “the pace of the offense was too slow, and that they can go faster” according to Birds 24/7.

While Michael Vick had a very good game last night, he was still very reckless while running with the football.
Eagles head coach Chip Kelly told the media today that it’s too late to try and change how Vick plays.
Those headfirst Mike Vick slides? Chip Kelly knows what battles are worth it, says, "I don't think at 33 we're going to get him to change."

The Eagles came out fired up with a lighting fast offense. The Eagles ran 53 plays in the first half, 28 in the first quarter alone...
The Philadelphia Eagles had a great showing Monday night and have worked their way up to number 15 in this week’s NFL Power Rankings. Here is a behind the scenes look at their 2014 cheerleader calendar shoot that took place on the beaches of Cape May and Wildwood, NJ.
The Chip Kelly era is off to a good start as his Philadelphia Eagles beat the Washington Redskins 33-27 in Week 1 of the 2013 season. The offense was a machine and the defense was surprisingly adept in the first half of the game. However, in the second half things got a little uneasy as the Eagles had to hold-off a Redskin rally. Below are my WTF and WTG awards as well as some...
All did not end well for the Eagles in their win over the Washington Redskins Monday night. The Eagles lost starting cornerback Bradley Fletcher to a concussion.
Fletcher, a fourth-year cornerback, came over from St. Louis and signed a two-year deal. He will be out until he is able to pass a concussion test.
The Eagles have re-signed cornerback Brandon Hughes to replace Fletcher...
Michael Vick is fast. The Eagles’ offense on Monday night was even faster.
Chip Kelly‘s influence on the Eagles’ new-look offense was obvious against Washington on Monday. The Eagles ran 77 offensive plays in the game, some which happened within 10-12 seconds of one another. At times, the Eagles looked like they weren’t even communicating with one another anymore, but rather...
Just try to keep up with Michael Vick, LeSean McCoy and the Philadelphia Eagles this season. Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins sure couldn't.
Playing at a frenetic pace that left the Redskins bumbling and stumbling, the Eagles unleashed coach Chip Kelly's offense on the NFL and crammed 77 plays into 60 minutes of football. They had their share of miscues, of...
The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Washington Redskins 33-27 in Chip Kelly’s debut on Monday Night Football.
The Eagles offense ran the Washington defense ragged all night long, as Michael Vick went 15-25 for 203 and two touchdowns while adding 52 yards on the ground and rushing for one score.
Although the Eagles offense will be the story, the defense played very well for most of...
