New Eagles CB Kevin Thomas
Ever since former Philadelphia Eagles Director of Player Personnel Ryan Grigson went to Indianapolis to replace Bill Polian as the new GM for the Colts, the relationship between that team and the Eagles has been cozy, engaging in multiple trades.
And they did it again on Thursday with Philadelphia sending linebackers Moise Fokou and Greg Lloyd to the Colts in return for CB Kevin Thomas (6-0, 192) and a 2013 conditional seventh-round draft pick.
Thomas comes with injury concerns but the Eagles think he’s worth the risk. He was a third-round draft pick out of USC to the Colts in 2010 but was placed in IR that year with a knee injury. He played nine games for Indianapolis (starting 5 of them), notching 33 tackles and defending three passes.
