Another week, another blowout loss for the suddenly sinking G-Men, who've went from first to finished in the span of two games.

The postseason is now a pipe-dream for New York, and a furious Jason Pierre-Paul believes his team doesn't belong in the tournament.

“Do we deserve it by the way we played? Do we?” Pierre-Paul said, via the Daily News. “I don’t think so, man. We went out there and pissed on our legs. That’s really all I can say.”

The Pro Bowl defensive end, who probably doesn't want you to tell him it's raining, also questioned Big Blue's character.

"Guys have just got to find their hearts and rise to the occasion, which we're not doing," Pierre-Paul said. "We're iffy, man, and I don't like that."

"Iffy" would be putting it kindly. The Giants have been the most inconsistent team in the NFL this season, alternating dominant wins with inexplicable losses.

In years past, New York would be getting hot around this time, gathering enough momentum to propel them into January -- and beyond.

Not this year.

“We weren’t able to get it done,” Tom Coughlin said. “We don’t have momentum going... and we’re not a very confident group right now. It’s one of those things in any profession that you have to earn confidence.”

With the playoffs all but vanquished, Week 17 is about playing for pride against the rival Eagles. If anything, JPP wants to at least break the .500 barrier.

“We’ve got just one more game to play, and we’re going to play it out," Pierre-Paul said. "Try to get the win, try to get 9-7, it’s better than 8-8.”
