By a ratio of almost 3:1, Dennis Pitta (74%) was voted to have had the best season in the NFL by former Brigham Young Cougars. Brett Keisel came in second with 16% of the vote, followed by Austin Collie (6%), Brady Poppinga (3%), and John Beck (1%). My vote also goes to Pitta. Pitta saw his role in the Baltimore Ravens offense increase dramatically. He played well in two playoff games. The future is very bright for Pitta.Keisel is second on my list, too. Even though he is advancing in age, he still had one of the best seasons of his career. He is a mainstay on the Steelers defensive line. Just like Pitta, he played for a team that made it to the playoffs. Poppinga gets my third place vote. He has quietly enjoyed a strong NFL career, especially for a former BYU linebacker. He might have changed teams, but that didn't change his production. Poppinga also successfully rebounded from an injury that cut short his 2010 season.
