Since 2004, the majority of NFL fans have been dying for a Manning vs. Manning Super Bowl. The great NFL family on the sports grandest stage playing the most glamorous position; instead we get the Harbaugh’s.
As a friend of mine put it last Sunday; “…the Manning’s are the Kennedy’s and the Harbaugh’s are the Bush’s.”
Both coaches have impacted their teams immensely with each of them appearing in the playoffs every year at the helm.
Both inherited great talent and are maxing that talent out. John Harbaugh took a team on the brink of winning a championship and added a strong-armed quarterback along with great weapons. The offense was a disaster and now they are the strong point of the Ravens identity.
Jim Harbaugh inherited amazing potential and highly drafted players that needed direction and proper placement in the game plan. J...

Ron Jaworski believes Colin Kaepernick has the tools to become the best QB in the NFL
ESPN NFL analyst Ron Jaworski believes that San Francisco 49ers Colin Kaepernick has what it takes to be the NFL’s best quarterback. In Kaepernick, Harbaugh has a young, athletic and savvy quarterback who has all of the tools to become the best quarterback in the NFL. To be clear, Kaepernick has a lot to prove before he overtakes the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and Peyton...

For some, the best part of the week prior to the Super Bowl is all of the questions players are asked by the media. Last week, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was asked by a financial adviser from New York where...
Colin Kaepernick’s Total Passing Yards, Ray Lewis’ Total Tackles Lead Prop Bets Heading into Super Bowl XLVII (Photos)
With the circus of media day finally coming to a close, it’s time to get down to the truly important aspects of the Super Bowl — the bets.
Betting on whether Colin Kaepernick can lead the 49ers to their first Super Bowl win since 1994 or if Ray Lewis will finish his career on top isn’t nearly as satisfying as guessing correctly how many total rushing yards Ray Rice will...

Super Bowl 2013: Could Heide Russo’s Selfish Move Affect Colin Kaepernick?
Each day, a parent gives up or abandons a child for different reasons, whether selfishly or unselfishly. And depending on the circumstances, it’s always great for a child and their birth parent to develop a relationship. However, when a child becomes a public figure, due to his or her success, later in life, the perception of a sudden reunion often creates negative thoughts...
Steve Young Says He’s Jealous He Never Used The Pistol Formation
Former 49ers great Steve Young might be the godfather of the mobile quarterback/passer era. Young was one of the first players in the league to be just as dangerous a passer as he was a runner.
Young played in the disciplined precision of the west coast offense, so he was never allotted the time to freestyle like current Niners quarterback Colin Kaepernick does.
Young who was as...

HOF QB Steve Young 'Really Jealous' Of 49ers' Pistol Formation
San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman told Around the League on Thursday that the team doesn't run a "pistol offense." (They just use the pistol formation.)
No matter what you call it, former 49ers quarterback Steve Young wishes he played when the concept was around.
"I'm actually really jealous about the pistol. I think it's such a...

Thoughts on this weekend's Super Bowl XLVII
I was happy when the Baltimore Ravens beat the New England Patriots to make it to the Super Bowl - unfortunately, that leaves me pretty much "eh" about this year's competition. At least if the Patriots had made it, I'd have a team to vehemently root against. Of course, if they had made it, then I also run the risk of seeing them win it, so I guess it's good...
