New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees isn't the quickest with his feet, but he sure did his best to dodge a question on Tuesday.
When asked by reporter Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times if he planned to attend offseason workouts on Monday, Brees attempted to shift the conversation elsewhere.
"What I can say in regards to my contract is that we're continuing to work hard on a long-term deal, and that's really all I can say about it," Brees said.
Farmer then repeated his initial question, to which Brees reiterated a similar - albeit vague - answer.
"We're continuing to work on a long-term deal," he said.
Brees was first in line last year during an organized players-only workout as the NFL dealt with its lockout.
