Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson are still not practicing with their high ankle sprains. Now Taiwan Jones has joined them on the injured list. Jones left Sunday's game against the Saints with an ankle injury which left the Raiders with just two healthy running backs-Marcel Reece and Jeremy Stewart. Jones was back at practice on Wednesday and wasn't listed on the injury report. But that ankle injury has flared up causing him to be limited in practice on Thursday. Darren McFadden Not Practicing Friday

Oakland running back Darren McFadden (ankle) missed Friday's practice and beat writer Steve Corkran is reporting that both McFadden and Mike Goodson will not play in Week 12.Fantasy Spin:McFadden has never been a quick healer and the original diagnosis in Week 9 was 2-4 weeks. Marcel Reece is the best fantasy option out of the Raiders backfield after posting 193 yards from scrimmage...

The Raiders have no running game and will be forced to throw on every possession. Week 12 preview.

The Raiders are good for one thing the rest of the season, big fantasy passing numbers.  They'll be behind in every game and don't have any RB's left on the roster.  Hopefully Palmer's arm doesn't fall off. After going a red hot 13-1 in week 11, I went 2-1 on Thanksgiving day.  For the season that makes it 106-57.  I'm still in striking distance of...

Former top 5 pick released again but this time by the Raiders

Today the Oakland Raiders announced that they released LB Aaron Curry. Curry missed most of the offseason, all of camp, and the first eight games with knee soreness. Activated from the PUP list, he played just 15 snaps versus the Ravens and three against the Saints last week. The No. 4 overall pick in the 2009 draft may have to prove that his knee is at full strength before landing...

Raiders FB Reece would prefer Ws instead of stats

(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated. With AP Photos.) By MICHAEL WAGAMAN Associated Press Marcel Reece isn't putting much value behind the numbers he's had in the two games since taking over as the Oakland Raiders' starting running back. He might be the only one. Oakland's primary fullback the past two seasons, Reece has amassed nearly 300 yards in total offense while...

Raiders prepare for reunion with former coach

Hue Jackson made a big impact in his two seasons with the Oakland Raiders. He helped revive Darren McFadden's career, turned Darrius Heyward-Bey from a bust to a capable NFL receiver and sparked a moribund offense that was one of the most inept in the league before he arrived. Jackson helped bring credibility back to Oakland first as offensive coordinator in 2010 and then head...

Darren McFadden Likely Out For Week 12

Steve Corkran tweets that Raiders RB Darren McFadden is unlikely to play against the Bengals this weekend. McFadden has already missed a few weeks now with an ankle injury, but there was hope that he would be available for Week 12. Marcel Reece figures to see another solid workload against Cincinnati with Mike Goodson also dealing with an ankle injury of his own.

Carson Palmer says it was time to leave the Bengals

Former Bengals and current Oakland Raiders starting  quarterback Carson Palmer says he wanted out of Cincinnati last season for professional reasons and that it was time for him to go. “Really just professional. Like I said, it was time. It was definitely time to move on, said Palmer, per the Cincinnati Enquirer.  ”I’m glad the way it worked out and I’m glad for the Bengals...

Raiders RB Darren McFadden Still Not Practicing

Darren McFadden sat out practice yet again for the Oakland Raiders on Wednesday due to a nagging ankle injury, according to Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times. Mike Goodson also missed practice. There is no official word yet on the status of either running back for Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals, though the fact that neither one has yet to participate in practice since...

Raiders RB Darren McFadden, DT Richard Seymour Still Out At Practice

Another day of practice, another day without running backs Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson and defensive tackle Richard Seymour. The trio missed all three practices this week, same as the previous two weeks. Therefore, it seems a foregone conclusion that coach Dennis Allen in an hour or so will declare all three as out for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. McFadden...

Raiders-Bengals Preview

For seven seasons, Carson Palmer was the face of the Cincinnati Bengals, leading them to two playoff appearances and earning two Pro Bowl trips before the parties endured an ugly split last year. Returning to Paul Brown Stadium for the first time since he was traded to Oakland, Palmer looks to help the Raiders avoid a fourth straight loss and keep the Bengals from a third consecutive...

Offensive Game Grades: Week 11 vs. New Orleans

It was expected to be a shootout between the Oakland Raiders and the New Orleans Saints last Sunday, when the teams collided at the O.Co Coliseum. Well, at least one side did their part and, unfortunately for the Raider Nation, it wasn’t the Silver & Black. The offense led by Carson Palmer could not keep up with Drew Brees and [...]
