NFL Trade Rumors:
The Oakland Raiders agreed to terms with veteran OT Tony Pashos on Monday.
Pashos, 33, was recently released by the Redskins, but the Raiders have a major need at tackle, so it makes sense for them to see what Pashos offers at this point in his career.
It appeared as though Oakland was going to enter the 2013 season with Alex Barron as their starting left tackle, but the team released Barron in order to make room for Pashos.
Jared Veldheer can’t return soon enough, but it will at least be interesting to see who starts for them at left tackle against the Colts this weekend.

Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden will finally have the chance to become the superstar that we all expected him to be. A year after the disastrous zone blocking nightmare brought forth by Greg Knapp, McFadden will be the focal point of a power run read-option offense. Last season, Frank Gore and Alfred Morris both had big season under the read-option offense, both of...
It has been over a decade since the Oakland Raiders were dominating the NFL. Rich Gannon was the reason the Raiders had their resurgence in the beginning of the 21st century, as Gannon was dinking and dunking his way into Raiders history. Since Gannon’s retirement, Raiders fans have had to endure the awful eras of Kerry Collins, Andrew Walter, Dante Culpepper, Josh McCown, Aaron...

For the second straight year, Matt Flynn was brought in to compete for the starting job on an NFL team. And for the second straight year, he's lost out—this time to former Buckeye Terrelle Pryor.
For the second season-in-a-row, Matt Flynn has lost his spot to a young, mobile quarterback.

Tweet After a long and bumpy road, according to multiple reports the Oakland Raiders have named former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor their week 1 starter. Finally. Week 1 of the 2013 NFL season is here. This week the Colts host the Raiders. Oakland really seems like a dumpster fire to me. I’ll let you be the judge. I’m going to do weekly polls to get your matchup opinions. Alrighty, here it is….

After an entire offseason, most NFL teams are ready to roll for week one of the regular season, but as is often the case, the Oakland Raiders aren’t following suit, and at first glance, the team doesn’t appear ready for their Sunday matchup in Indianapolis.
The big question going into week one is, who will be the Raiders’ quarterback. We’d all like to know whether the team...
Many Oakland Raiders fans, including me, were furious that the Raiders brass decided to cut promising rookie David Bass. During the preseason, Bass seemed to be the only defensive lineman to get after the quarterback. If Reggie McKenzie thought Bass would slip through the cracks so he could put Bass on the practice squad, he was definitely wrong as the Chicago Bears signed Bass...

Matt Flynn just can’t catch a break.
After signing a three-year, $26 million deal to become the Seattle Seahawks’ starting quarterback last offseason, Flynn was overshadowed by a rookie by the name of Russell Wilson during the preseason and was banished to the bench for all but nine passes in 2012. Almost one calendar year later, Flynn must be having deja vu.
On Tuesday, the...
