Affiliate – A huge Week 3 game awaits the Steelers as they travel west to take on the Oakland Raiders before their BYE. Pittsburgh righted the ship after losing to the Denver Broncos in the opener, beating the New York Jets 27-10 at home. It was a dominating performance from top to bottom from Mike Tomlin’s crew. Ben Roethlisberger had no troubles shredding a Jets secondary that was missing Darrelle Revis. He finished 24-of-31 for 275 yards and two touchdowns, one to Mike Wallace and the other to Heath Miller. The running game continued to struggle though with Rashard Mendenhall still out of action. Jonathan Dwyer and Isaac Redman combined for 24 carries for only 53 yards, though Redman was able to get into the endzone during the victory. A win’s a win though and now the Steelers head to Oakland as four-point favorites on the NFL odds board. The Raiders have been one of the biggest disappointments of the young season so far.
