Terrelle Pryor is just days from the biggest start of his young professional life. That’s what the hype machine says. Monday night’s game against Denver is a chance for the young quarterback to anoint himself the next big thing and prove that his team is better than expected. If he can lead the Raiders to victory in Denver his stock will fly a mile high. ESPN would like you to come and see. Tune in for Peyton Manning stay for the new-age phenom. Pryor’s creativity gives the Raiders a puncher’s chance in this perceived mismatch. That’s a lot for a 24-year old to take in. The Raiders would rather he block it all out. They’d like him to affix blinders posthaste to ignore everything save positive yards and touchdowns. “The leaders and playmakers on this roster need to help him out. Let the young guys make plays for him and the veterans be vocal leaders. We’ve been on this stage. We’ve played in this environment. We know what it’s like and we can handle the intangibles.

The Raiders Need to Trade for Josh Gordon

Josh Gordon (@Browns) I don’t normally condone midseason trades, but the news of the Browns hearing trade offers for Josh Gordon caught my ear. 3 Things the Oakland Raiders Need to Do In Order to Shock the Denver Broncos

Raiders need Denarius Moore to shake off poor performances

After two seasons with the Oakland Raiders in which he was arguably the most dynamic playmaker for the team, Denarius Moore should have become the outright No. 1 receiver this season. Moore was among team leaders in receptions, yards and average yards per reception during his first two seasons, but the start to his 2013 campaign has been anything but noteworthy. He has only caught...
