Jim Thomas of the  St. Louis Post Dispatch reports that Rams C Scott Wells underwent another surgery on his knee earlier this month. Wells, 32, has now undergone three different surgeries in a seven month span. The Rams have to be concerned about his future status given that he just signed a four-year deal worth $24 million and includes $13 million guaranteed. Wells has base salaries of $5.5 million coming his way for the next three seasons. Wells recently underwent an arthroscopic procedure to repair torn cartilage in his right knee, which is the second time his knee has had to go under the knife since last June. Wells suffered the injury on his first practice with the Rams after returning from a foot injury in November that also required surgery. He finished out the remaining six games of the season while playing through the injury.  The Rams coaching staff still has faith in him overall and believe he’ll be ready to go for the team’s OTAs that start in May. With Wells back in the lineup the team surrendered 1½ sacks in six games, compared to 2.6 sacks allowed per game in their first 10, although Wells did struggle as a run blocker in that same span.   The post Rams C Scott Wells Underwent Another Surgery On His Knee appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.
