Chris Long, son of hall of famer Howie has been the bookend of the St. Louis rams defensive line since being selected in the first round of the 2008 draft out of Virginia. A D-line much maligned since is coming of age this season in a team structure that has been renewed with new coaching, management and philosophy after their disparity of the later 2000′s. Paid better than his father Chris garnered a six year $56 million contract and has been a constant threat to opposing defenses. The question begs, does he live up to his pedigree?
