St. Louis Rams defensive tackle Clifton Ryan had a 49-game playing streak until migraine headaches ended it last month. Feeling better, he awaits being able to play that first game back. "It feels real good to be back," Ryan told the AP Friday after his first practice since Sept. 15. "To be back out there with the guys, it feels good. It's really a blessing and I feel thankful to be back out there on the field." Ryan's status for Sunday's game at Detroit is unknown, but Rams coach Steve Spagmuolo said he's taking a wait-and-see approach with him. St. Louis' fifth-round draft pick in 2007, Ryan started 27 of the 49 consecutive games played before the migraines set in. The Saginaw, Mich., native and Michigan State product would love to play in his home state but won't rush things. "If it happens, it's happens," Ryan said. "I can't worry about the migraines. I've been out for three weeks and we've won two games. We've got some things rolling. My main thing is I want to be a positive asset to the team."
