The St. Louis Rams were able to hand the Arizona Cardinals
their first loss of the season last night, but they ended the contest without
their top receiver, Danny Amendola
. The wide out left the contest in the second
quarter with a shoulder injury, which could end up being a broken collarbone,
reports Gregg Rosenthal

down last year and it really hurt us. I feel confident about our guys we got
this year and I think it just opens up a spot for someone to step up and make
Amendola will undergo a CT scan this morning to determine
the extent of the injury. If the results do show a broken collarbone, he will
be out for the foreseeable future.
If Amendola is sidelined Rosenthal notes that the Rams will
ask the remainder of their receiving corps, Brandon Gibson
, Austin Pettis
and Brian Quick
, to step up.
