On Tuesday, the St. Louis Rams finally gave up on two of the remaining disappointments from their failed 2006 NFL draft—first-round pick Tye Hill and third-round pick Joe Klopfenstein.   Hill was shipped to the Atlanta Falcons for a bag of donuts, otherwise known as a seventh-round pick. Klopfenstein couldn’t even bring that much in return.   But this isn’t about how Hill fell flat on his face after famously declaring as a rookie that he was bound for numerous Pro Bowls.   Nope.
