As first reported by News 12 New Jersey, Jets running back Mike Goodson was arrested last night for an incident in which "Goodson and a companion were found intoxicated."
Goodson had to be taken to a hospital, due to how intoxicated he was, and police found marijuana and a loaded handgun in the vehicle.
Following the hospital visit, Goodson was released to State Police custody.
This may mean that Bilal Powell has the number two spot on the RB depth chart, and that Joe McKnight is still in the mix, but we'll let the rest of this developing situation play out.
Goodson was the passenger in the car. This may change how the Jets handle the situation.
