Found August 07, 2013 on The Victory Formation:
Fullback Kyle Juszczyk learned this week what it is like to be a rookie in the NFL. He wasn’t forced to shave his head (at least not yet), and he didn’t get taped to the goal posts, but he did get stuck paying a rather large bill. No, it wasn’t an expensive restaurant or huge bar tab, but it was for a buncha tasty food at a local Chick-fil-A. I gotta say, if you have to get stuck paying for your teammates food, a ridiculous amount of waffle fries and chicken nuggets is the way to go. It only amounted to $100.00, which is probably fair for a fourth-round pick. Checkout the bill below which was tweeted out by Juszczyk shortly after making the purchase: Once they polished these off, do you think that this happened, again? H/T Ravens.com

Ravens: Rookie fullback gets hit with Chick-fil-A bill

Baltimore Ravens rookie fullback Kyle Juszczyk got hisr ookie initiation at Chick-fil-A. It was there that the 22-year-old out of Harvard was left to purchase nearly $100 worth of chicken nuggets and waffle fries. #RookieObligations pic.twitter.com/rsjWn8VcAN — Kyle Juszczyk (@JuiceCheck44) August 7, 2013   The Ravens, like nearly every NFL team, have a way of making rookies feel...

Baltimore Ravens Have Strong Showing in Tampa

The Baltimore Ravens were at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Florida on Thursday Night taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the NFL kicked off its first pre-season games. As the Ravens deferred to the Buccaneers after winning the initial coin toss, Chris Canty was the first Raven to make his presence known sacking Josh Freeman forcing a quick three and out on there first...

Hall of Fame inductee Jonathan Ogden was absurdly huge in high school (photo)

On Saturday, Baltimore Ravens longtime offensive tackle Jonathan Ogden deservedly was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Jonathan Ogden is a large man and apparently always has been a large man. As you can see above, even when posing alongside other massive human beings (center), Ogden stands out due to his considerable size […]The post Hall of Fame inductee Jonathan...

Ray Rice to Play WR Too?

The Ravens are obviously desperate for help out wide after they gave away Boldin for a $5 foot long and lost Pitta for the season.  Ray Rice is versatile enough to line up out wide and according to Chris Mortensen, that’s exactly what the Ravens will do.  This will allow them to use Bernard Pierce more in the running game. I do think Rice will be a great asset in PPR leagues...

Joe Flacco isn’t worried about loss of Pitta and Boldin

The offseason loss of Anquan Boldin and recent injury to Dennis Pitta haven’t got Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco worried.   Pitta was an incredibly reliable target for Flacco in 2012. The tight end caught 61 passes for 669 yards. Pitta also tacked on seven touchdowns. Pitta was the third leading receiver in Baltimore last season. Boldin on the other hand was number...

Ravens’ Ed Dickson out ‘couple of weeks’ with hamstring tear

It’s not a season-ending injury like the one starter Dennis Pitta suffered, but the Baltimore Ravens will be without tight end Ed Dickson for a couple of weeks as he recovers from a slightly torn hamstring, the team has announced. TE Ed Dickson has a slight hamstring tear and will be out a couple of weeks. — Baltimore Ravens (@Ravens) August 5, 2013 Following the news of the...

Torrey Smith Emerging As Offensive Leader

In just his third season Torrey Smith has found himself as Baltimore's receiving group's leader. It wasn't something expected necessarily. He was particularly shocked when the Ravens traded Anquan Boldin to San Francisco this offseason. But it's a position he's embraced since it came to him. And it's something he's not taking for granted either. "...

Ravens practice hard before PS opener in Tampa...

You might expect a little letdown on the pace of practice now that the first preseason game is only a day away in Tampa. But the Ravens coaches have their pedals to the metal. I can almost hear what Ozzie Newsome (GM) is thinking--- "Weed out the rookies and free agents now, not later...we've got some veteran talent that we'll need to make room for when free agents get...

Visanthe Shiancoe Practicing with First-Team Offense

Ravens tight end Visanthe Shiancoe has been practicing with the first team just a week after signing with the team.Fantasy Spin:Ed Dickson will start and be the tight end to have on your roster, but the Ravens have used multiple tight ends over the past seasons and Shiancoe could get a decent portion of the workload.

Preview: Baltimore Ravens vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

For the Ravens, it will be interesting to watch the wide receivers, especially young guys Tommy Streeter, Tandon Doss, LaQuan Williams and Deonte Thompson. With the trade of Anquan Boldin, there is an open race for playing time at the receiver position, and at least one of these young guys will have a chance to [...] [[ This is a content summary only. The Baltimore Ravens will travel to Raymond James Stadium to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in what will be both teams first preseason game of 2013. While the game will be watered down with backups, and players destined for the practice squad it will represent the first opportunity for fans of both teams to see some of their starters take the field for the first time. The defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens (0-0) travel to Raymond James Stadium to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-0) in their preseason opener.
