NFL Injury Report:
Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs returned to practice this week and is preparing for a return on Sunday, according to Adam Schefter.
Suggs tore his Achilles in April but has recovered quickly enough to possibly play Sunday in Houston. If there are no setbacks before the game he might take the field.
However, Ravens insider Aaron Wilson wrote that a source told the Baltimore Sun Suggs will not play.
When asked about a report that Suggs will play Sunday, the source responded, "I would be shocked if he played."
Suggs might feel rushed to come back with linebacker Ray Lewis and cornerback Lardarius Webb out for the season with injuries. Suggs is a dangerous outside linebacker that has a nose for the quarterback. The Ravens defense has struggled this season and have missed Suggs' pass rushing ability.
BEST OF MAXIM
When it comes to the age-old question, "trick or treat," one can assume Terrell Suggs would opt for "trick."
Ravens sideline reporter Gerry Sandusky -- yes, with a "G" -- was filming one of his weekly segments when Suggs surprised him with a running hug that might as well have been a tackle. After all, Suggs is 260 pounds.
Earlier today we mentioned that Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs expects to play this Sunday against the Texans.According to Albert Breer of the NFL Network, the Baltimore Ravens don’t have a specific plan as to when linebacker Terrell Suggs will return to the field.“Suggs is taking his rehab “day by day,” according to a source with knowledge of his condition and...
Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Terrell Suggs was activated from the physically unable to perform list and returned to practice Wednesday. That move couldn't come at a better time for Baltimore. Pro Bowl cornerback Lardarius Webb suffered a season-ending injury last week, and inside linebacker Ray Lewis is likely also done for the year after having surgery to repair a torn...
Ravens LB Terrell Suggs Not Expected To Play Sunday -
Updating a previous story, NFL Network and the Baltimore Sun are reporting that the Ravens do not expect OLB Terrell Suggs (Achilles’) to return this week. Ultra-reliable Adam Schefter’s earlier reporting is being called into question. It sounds like Suggs expects and wants to play, but the Ravens intend to hold the reigning...

In the offseason when it was announced that Ravens LB Terrell Suggs suffered a Torn Achilles Tendon in an individual workout, many thought that Suggs would be done for the season.
He said he’d be back sometime during the year, but that was a long shot. The team placed him on the physically-unable-to-perform...
Check out the video of Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs pretending to tackle a reporter.
Rumors of OLB Terrell Suggs coming back from his Achilles rehab to bolster the Ravens' run defense against the Houston Texans are circulating around Baltimore and the NFL as of the Friday before game time. Personally I would not count on Suggs being even close to ready to be activated. But he did have a limited practice on Wednesday and another on Thursday. I guess we won'...
RAY OF HOPE
The Ravens are not ruling out the notion that their iconic linebacker could make a return this season despite tearing his tricep on Sunday.
The Baltimore Ravens haven't completely abandoned hope of having Ray Lewis back in uniform this season.
Lewis tore his right triceps in Sunday's game against Dallas and was scheduled to undergo surgery on Wednesday. Although coach John Harbaugh said Monday that the 37-year-old linebacker is out for the year, the Ravens placed Lewis on injured reserve with the ''designated...
Baltimore Ravens (5-1) at Houston Texans (5-1)
This is a very interesting game for a number of reasons. The most obvious is Baltimore’s injuries. This line was at -4 a week ago, but because of Baltimore’s injuries, it’s shifted 3 points, even though Baltimore won and Houston got blown out at home. In spite of that, we still are getting a slight public lean on Houston. Houston...
When the schedule was released way back in April, I, along with quite a few others, circled this game on the schedule as a tough one for the Ravens. That was assuming good health for Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs, Ed Reed and Haloti Ngata among others. Now, this game could be a blowout.
Fortunately for the Ravens, I don’t think they will get blown out. Joe Flacco and the offense play...
