Ravens outside linebacker Michael McAdoo tore his Achilles tendon during an organized team activity practice Thursday and underwent surgery today to repair the damage. Given the timing and severity of the injury, McAdoo is expected to miss the entire NFL season. McAdoo is a 6-foot-7, 245-pound pass rusher from the University of North Carolina. He declared for the NFL supplemental draft last year following a string of eligibility issues, but went undrafted. The Ravens signed him after the supplemental draft and he spent his rookie season on injured reserve with a knee injury.

Report: McBean off to a fine start with Ravens

Looking to add depth along the defensive line this offseason, the Baltimore Ravens’ search netted them Ryan McBean, a multitalented 6-foot-5, 305-pounder. McBean inked a one-year, $1.21 million deal earlier this month. But it will be nearly a month into the regular season until he can make his debut with the Ravens. McBean, 28, has [...]

Three-horse race for Ravens’ back-up running back spot

It’ll be a three-horse race to see who will back-up Pro Bowl running back Ray Rice this season. At some point, Rice will return to running with the Ravens’ first-team offense. This cuts into the Ravens’ depth some more and they’ll have to use draft...

Baltimore Ravens: Vonta Leach Most Underrated Addition Of 2011

Vonta Leach was Baltimore's most valuable acquisition of last season - yes that’s right, the fullback. The Ravens had a lot of success in 2011, but like most other teams, had down moments as well. If you need your memory refreshed, the loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars should be all I have to mention. One of the Ravens' consistently great players was Vonta Leach, and he...
