Atlanta Falcons running back Jacquizz Rodgers is the younger of the team's new backfield tandem along with newly acquired veteran Steven Jackson.
However, when it comes to the playbook, Rodgers is the subject matter expert and Jackson is the pupil.
Rodgers enters his third season as a backup with the ability to do a number of different things for the team.
One of those things is helping Jackson who will get the majority of the carries in 2013 learn the offense.
"Since he doesn’t know the playbook as well, he asks me questions and I help him out with it," Rodgers said, via Daniel Cox of AtlantaFalcons.com.
"Our playbook (has) so much up-tempo. We (often) run our offense no huddle, so I help him out when I can."
"I met him in college," Rodgers said. "He came to a couple of games so I got a chance to talk to him then. We somewhat knew each other already."
