RB Rankings – Week Ten Jonathan Stewart returned this past Sunday versus the Falcons and put up 65 yards on 12 touches while DeAngelo Williams put up only 54 yards on 15 touches. Stewart is the lead back and the passing down back in this offense and should be picked up in all leagues. Stewart has RB1 talent but should settle in as a RB2 and top-25 running back with 15-18 touches per game the rest of the way. This week the Panthers square off against the 49ers this week who have been pretty strong against the run overall but have given up RB2 level games to the more talented larger backs they have faced so far this season. Stewart should average at least five yards per touch this week with a chance to find the end zone. Stewart comes in as our 26th ranked running back for week ten. Zac Stacy is now an every-week must-start in all leagues regardless of format. Stacy has bullied his way into the RB1 conversation and comes in as our 11th ranked running back for week ten. This week the Rams square off against a leaky Colts run defense which should lead to Stacy vying for 100 yards rushing for the third consecutive week. It is quite perplexing that the Rams kept Stacy inactive to start the season but that is neither here nor there as Stacy looks like he is here to stay. Mike James has looked impressive so far as a starter this season and he looks to be in line for another RB2 performance this week against the Dolphins. The Dolphins have given up the most fantasy points to opposing running backs so far this season and James should vie for at least 80 yards rushing and a score this week in a plus match-up. James is currently ranked as our 15th overall running back for week ten. Trent Richardson continues to disappoint this season despite good paper match-ups and comes in as our 16th ranked running back despite playing one of the worst run defenses in the league. Richardson has shown that he has a very low floor but is still, theoretically, full of upside against a weak run defense that has given up the sixth most fantasy points to opposing running backs. We are concerned that T-Rich missed two practices this week but reports have it that he will suit up this weekend. Owners may be fed up with a player they likely wasted a first round pick on but this is a week we should take the gamble and give his purported talent another chance.
