Earlier today there was a lot made about Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo being listed 236 pounds, his heaviest since entering the league back in 2003.
Romo down played the weight gain, saying that the figure wasn’t too accurate. He would go on to say that he normally weighs between 227 and 230 lbs. depending on the day. Others like head coach Jason Garrett also down played the “issue”.
Cowboys Corner broke down Romo’s weight per year
Romo was told to do nothing following a surgery to remove a cyst on his back, so a few extra pounds would be expected. I’m sure that following the first few weeks of camp Romo will be able to drop those extra pounds, but I doubt anyone will let this go any time soon.
