Adam Carriker appeared on Backfield Radio last night and had plenty to say about his off-season, teammates and what goes on in the Redskins locker room.
When ask about his production last year and what we should expect from him next year:
You know individually, I did my job I did what I was supposed to do – hold my gap and all that. So the linebackers to run free and make plays. One thing I would like to improve this year is make plays of my own. I told London Fletcher, I believe it was last couple games I go “You know what? I’m tired of making all these gaps for you I’m trying to make plays.” He said “that’s all right with me”. So that’s what I want to do more of this year. I did all I was supposed to do, I just can do more.
The topic of Donovan McNabb’s future came up as well, and he had this to say in that regard:
I mean with Donovan, it’s tough to say. All the players like him, everybody loves him. Obviously the year didn’t end up the best way. I don’t know that I would ...
