The RG3 era has officially begun in Washington D.C and already his confidence is being translated to his teammates. Its one thing for Robert Griffith III to have a big game, but when the team steps up and beat a powerhouse New Orleans Saints team, one has to take notice. One person is Redskins running back Alfred Morris, a 2012 6th round draft pick and who coincidentally was making his first start as well. You know what they say about not having enough experience to understand the moment; but don't tell that to Morris. He knows the importance of the upset win.

“It was great. Definitely a hostile environment. We was able to get up on them early and to make the crowd a non-factor in a sense, but it was definitely a sight and definitely went out there and had fun. I always do.”

“My coach told me Saturday at the team meeting. He said, ‘You are going to be starting. Are you ready?’ I was like yes sir. He was like, ‘You deserved it.’ I thanked him for it.”

“We definitely have to keep working hard and continue. It’s only one game. It does count, but it’s only one game. We got a long road ahead of us and pretty much what we said before the game and after the game is we didn’t come here just to play. We didn’t come here to just show up and to play good. We came to win and that’s exactly what we did. That was huge on that stage and in the Saints backyard.”
