The Washingnton Redskins, amid new pressure to change the team name, included a few questions in a survey that asks fans if the name should be changed. We're guessing that if you a Redskins fan, the answer is probably a resounding no. Perhaps that's what the team is aiming for with the survey, to arm themselves with a little 'the people have spoken' evidence to go along with owner Daniel Snyder 's insisting that the name will never be changed. The Washington Redskins continue to face criticism from congress for the team's nickname. This time a rep from American Samoa went after them.

The Washington Redskins have undergone a lot of change since Mike Shanahan’s arrival. The team has gotten younger, deeper and more athletic. On the other hand, Dan Snyder is still the owner, so everything else is still kind of f*cked.
Their glad-handing “general manager” has absolutely zero say...
The Redskins are coming off a season where they won the NFC for the first time since 1999, and to try and repeat that, which hasn’t happened since 1984, they need a few players to really step-up this year.
One player that immediately comes to my mind is outside linebacker Brian Orakpo. There are no questions surrounding his talent as a football player, he is one of the best OLB’s...
Fred Smoot spent seven of his nine years as an NFL pro with the Washington Redskins, so his hatred for the Dallas Cowboys comes naturally. The teams in the NFC East tend to dislike one another more than teams in other divisions, but what is Smoot’s beef with Emmitt Smith? During a recent podcast with [...]
