Last season, Green Bay Packers running back Ryan Grant suffered a severe ankle injury in Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles that forced him to miss the entire regular season and playoffs. After the Packers went on to win the Super Bowl without a consistent running back, many wondered if the team would part ways with Grant due to his hefty salary price for the 2011 season–but that doesn’t appear to be the case. According to Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Post Gazette, all signs point to Grant being back with the Packers next season–despite his hefty price $5.25 million in salary for 2011.
