Aditi Kinkhabwala reports Sunday morning that Brown will be out today with the left high ankle sprain that suffered a few weeks ago against the New York Giants. This will be the third game in a row that Brown has missed, but signs are good that he might be back next weekend when the Steelers travel to Baltimore to take on the Baltimore Ravens. Steelers’ Loss to Browns Doesn’t Mean This Is 2009 Redux

Let’s see, the Pittsburgh Steelers are without Ben Roethlisberger and Troy Polamalu. They showed some promise earlier this season with a four-game winning streak that got them to six wins. Then they lost two straight, including a defeat in Cleveland to a woeful Browns team. Now they’re 6-5 and losing their grip on a playoff berth. Sounds an awful lot like 2009, doesn’t it?...

The former could be a major factor this week against Cleveland as wideout Antonio Brown is going to miss Week 12. Perhaps Tomlin should just draw straws at Running Back this week

There were so many things that went wrong for the Steelers, in the week 12 loss to the Browns, not the least of which was the 6 fumbles (4 of them lost) by the running backs. No sense going back and reliving the 3 interceptions by Charlie Batch and the final fumble on the last drive of the game; but hey, who’s counting? For the last month or so Mike Tomlin has preached about going...

Week 12 – Picks Against the Spread (2012)

Our Thanksgiving Day Special delivered once again — 2-0-1 ATS. The Texans pushed and we hit on Redskins (+3.5) and Patriots/Over 41.5 teaser. This Sunday, I’m not crazy about any particular games. I’m pretty much taking most of the home teams here. I would probably tease Bengals (-2.5) with Broncos (-3.5), and would consider taking a shot on the Colts (-3), Seahawks (-2.5)...
