The Cincinnati Bengals will not trade Carson Palmer by Tuesday's NFL trade deadline, according to ESPN. The cable network's John Clayton reported that Bengals ownership "refuses to budge" on a possible deal for Palmer, who who threatened to retire after last season but is now sitting out the final year of his contract. Bengals team owner Mike Brown had been adamant about not trading Palmer, who threw for 3,970 yards, 26 TDs and 20 interceptions last season. Cincinnati is 3-2 this season behind rookie quarterback Andy Dalton, a second-round selection in April's draft.
