Boston Police have been investigating Aaron Hernandez‘s connection to a 2012 double murder for a few months now, and they seem to have finally formed their opinion on his involvement. New documents in the investigation confirm for the first time that Boston Police believe that Hernandez was the shooter in the double murder, according to Wesley Lowery of the Boston Globe. New Hernandez documents confirm for first time that Boston Police believe Aaron Hernandez may have been shooter in 2012 double murder.— Wesley Lowery (@WesleyLowery) January 16, 2014 A search warrant released earlier this month revealed new details about the night in question. The warrant alleged that Hernandez was present inside a silver SUV, now identified as a Toyota 4Runner, according to FOX Sports, involved in a dive-by shooting that left two men, Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado, dead and another injured in the early morning hours of July 16, 2012. The SUV was found parked in the garage of a home  owner by Hernandez’s uncle last year. Hernandez was identified as the shooter by a witness in the car back in October, but this is the first time police have indicated any belief that he might have been the trigger man. Hernandez, 24, is already in jail, awaiting trial on first-degree murder charges in the Odin Lloyd case. He only became a suspect in the 2012 case after the Lloyd murder charge arouse suspicion.Filed under: Headlines, New England Patriots, NFL
