Report: Bucs interviewing Packers offensive coordinator Philbin today

The Bucs are interviewing Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Tampa Bay received permission this week to interview both Philbin and quarterbacks coach Tom Clements, Packers general manager Ted Thompson confirmed Thursday. Philbin is also one of three finalists for the Miami Dolphins head coaching job and expected to have a second interview with owner Stephen Ross this week. Philbin's 21-year-old son, Michael, drowned in Oshkosh, Wis., last week. But Philbin coached in Sunday's NFC Divisional playoff game against the Giants.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter,  the Miami Dolphins plan on hiring Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin as their next head coach. Earlier in the day,  Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy was the front-runner to land the Dolphins head coaching gig.  In the end I believe Philbin is a great choice.
