Dan Marino, known as maybe the greatest quarterback to never win a Super Bowl, is making a headline that nobody ever would have predicted. The former Miami Dolphins great had an affair with a CBS employee which led to the birth of baby girl in 2005. Marino became an in-studio analyst at CBS in 2003, and it appears the affair with then-production assistant Donna Savattere began shortly after he arrived, according to a report from the New York Post. Marino is not denying the report: “This is a personal and private matter. I take full responsibility both personally and financially for my actions now as I did then,” he told The Post in a written statement. “We mutually agreed to keep our arrangement private to protect all parties involved.” Marino just celebrated 28 years of marriage with his wife.
