The Houston Texans have reportedly have cut ties with veteran wide receiver Kevin Walter just before the start of 2013 NFL Free Agency at 4:00 p.m. ET, per ESPN’s Adam Shefter.  Walter was selected in the seventh round (No. 255 overall) out of Eastern Michigan by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2003 NFL Draft and spent three seasons with the team before taking his talents to Houston. The 6-3, 218-pound wide out played in 109 games (91 starts) and registered 326 receptions for 4,083 yards and 24 touchdowns in seven seasons with the Texans (2006-12) and caught 41 passes for 518 yards and two TDs in 2012.
