According to Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew is holding out from offseason workouts because he’s looking for more money.
Jones-Drew still has two years left on his current deal and Prisco doesn’t expect the Jaguars to break the bank for him right now.
Jones-Drew is scheduled to make $4.45 million 2012 and $4.95 in 2013. He ran for 1,606 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2011.
It will be interesting to see how long Jones-Drew decides to hold out.
