According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, even though the Washington Redskins have sealed the deal on acquiring the second overall pick in April’s draft, they still plan on pursuing free agent quarterback Peyton Manning.
Even though it’s considered a long shot that they’ll land Manning, the Redskins will still waste their time and try to get Manning.
At the end of the day, Manning has moved on from the Skins. Owner Dan Snyder now needs to take his piggy bank with him and get ready to bring in talent to surround Robert Griffin III.

The Manning Move…all a part of the master plan?
First off let me say this I am an Indianapolis Colts fan, always have been but for me Peyton Manning was the only quarterback I have known in a Colts uniform. The Indianapolis Colts avoided paying Manning a $28 million bonus by releasing the 35-year-old quarterback on Wednesday, and his list of suitors is looking long. Tuck is concerned about one potential destination...
With Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne now both on the market, there has been some talk of the duo shopping themselves as a package deal. Peyton probably won’t limit his options to teams that have interest in signing Reggie, but Wayne may do his best to follow Manning wherever he goes. In fact, it sounds like the former Colts receiver is already crossing his fingers that both can...

Maybe next year? ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Browns offered at least three first round picks to the Rams to move up two slots in April’s draft for the chance to draft Robert Griffin III, “and possibly even the second-round pick.” SI’s Peter King tweeted that “Cleveland was in it, but didn’t want to give three ones and a 2.” Schefter added that, “Cleveland...
ESPN’s Adam Schefter was asked whether or not he believes the New England Patriots will go after Texans defensive end/linebacker Mario Williams once free agency begins.
Schefter gave his answer on his ESPN blog.
“It’s usually not the Patriot Way to pour their resources into one marquee player such as Williams,” wrote Schefter. “He would be great in their system, and the...
