Despite reports that Mike Shanahan has been holding Robert Griffin III until week one, Griffin’s surgeon, James Andrews, has not yet cleared the quarterback for the first week of the season.
Griffin has been participating in training camp drills since being cleared earlier in the month to do so.
Not being allowed to risk contact, Griffin’s work has been mostly in seven-on-seven.
