Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is putting off contract extension talks until after the end of the season. "We talked. We thought he had an interest, and he knows we have an interest," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told The Dallas Morning News. "But he wants to just concentrate on the season. ... We're not doing anything on the contract right now. We just haven't done anything on it. He's just concentrating on right now, this year, what he's doing on the field. "We're fine with that, too. He's not going anywhere." Romo is signed through 2013, but Jones has expressed an interest in locking up the 32-year-old quarterback long-term. A new contract would presumably help the Cowboys with the salary cap as well - Romo is currently due to count $8.06 million against the cap in 2012 and $16.8 million in the final year of his deal.
