Found September 11, 2013 on NFL Trade Rumors:
Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Seattle Seahawks have signed TE Kellen Davis. Seattle also brought in tight ends Dorin Dickerson, and Daniel Fells for workouts recently, but apparently Davis was the more impressive player. Davis, 27, signed with the Browns not too long ago, but was released as they reduced their roster to 53 players. The Buccaneers also showed some interest in Davis as well.   The post Report: Seahawks Sign TE Kellen Davis appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.

Why Chad Johnson Should Consider the BC Lions

Everyone that does or has followed Chad Johnson on Twitter (@ochocinco) has an opinion about him and whether you love him or hate him, the man knows how to get people’s attention.   In fact, following him on Twitter was what changed my opinion of him and exposed me to him on a new level.  The exposure to Johnson as a person proved that the persona I had created for him through...

Seattle's health improving ahead of 49ers matchup

Pete Carroll is hopeful the Seattle Seahawks will get starting cornerback Brandon Browner back for Sunday night's NFC West showdown with San Francisco. Carroll said Wednesday that Browner continues to recover from a hamstring injury suffered last week. Browner was expected to run on Wednesday and, if there are no setbacks, go through practice Thursday. Carroll also expects...

Seattle Seahawks: 2013 Week 2 NFL Power Rankings (#1)

It might not seem like a 5 point win over the Panthers is that impressive, but if the Panthers are as good as I think they are, it is, especially in Carolina at 1 PM ET. The Seahawks have a very easy home schedule this year (San Francisco this week is their only home test) and they could easily go 8-0 at home again. That’s 9 wins right there. All they would have to do is go 3-4...

Cops to now go undercover at Seahawks games

Yesterday the Seattle Seahawks let their fans, who are known to be one of the loudest stadiums in all the NFL that they are on watch. The organization will now have undercover law enforcement officers that will be wearing opposing team jerseys to quickly detect unruly fans. The Seahawks didn’t want to discourage fans to be loud and cheer on their team, but wanted to make sure people...

Russell Wilson says eyebrow bet with Colin Kaepernick is more of a joke

On Tuesday we posted a video of Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson making a bet that whoever loses this weekend’s game has to shave off an eyebrow. Wilson was asked about the wager when he went on the radio with Dave “Softy” Mahler show on 950 KJR-AM in Seattle. “He’s going to have to shave off his (eyebrows),” Wilson joked, via ProFootballTalk.com. It sounds like the...

Seahawks Hire Undercover Cops To Dress As Opposing Fans At Century Link Field

Any Seattle Seahawks fan (oh, sorry, 12TH MAN) who thinks about tossing an insult (or worse) towards an opposing fan this season had better think twice, after the team announced a partnership with Seattle police that it hopes will help curb unruly fan behavior at CenturyLink Field. The plan: dress cops in the visiting team’s apparel, and let the dimwits come right to them. The...

Thoughts After The Seattle Seahawks Victory Over The Carolina Panthers

From HawkBlogger.com, a partner of Oregon Sports News Russell Wilson scrambled for his life, Marshawn Lynch could not find running room, and the Seattle defense could not stop Kevin Kolb from scoring the winning touchdown. That was last year. Tarvaris Jackson was battered with five sacks, Lynch could not find running room, and the Seattle special teams gave up two kick returns...

Bitter NFC West rivals meet in Seattle

Aldon Smith may think it's just another game, but the verbal sniping between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks proves otherwise. A primetime matchup between two of the NFL's top young quarterbacks only adds to the attention. Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson are both looking to build on the best statistical performances of their respective careers Sunday night...

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks: Three Bold Predictions

No. 1 Someone Not Named Anquan Boldin Will Have A Big Day For The 49ers.While the Seahawks had to deal with arguably one of the most talented quarterbacks in the league in Cam Newton last week, it wasn’t a very tall test considering Newton’s lack of options to throw to. The Seattle defense kept Newton at a career low 119 passing yards. The test will be more difficult this week...

49ers unimpressed by Seahawks' QB?

Russell Wilson threw only 10 interceptions in 16 regular-season games as a rookie, a few of them the result of a hit as he threw, a slipping wide receiver or a pass off the hands of his target. But whereas many see the Seattle Seahawks' quarterback as one of the better caretakers of the football, Donte' Whitner sees a guy who gives the defense a chance to make a play. ...

Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson Make Shaved Eyebrow Bet on Sunday’s Game (Video)

To cap off a great sports weekend, we have the San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. In a new Madden commercial, Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson gave us yet another reason to get excited about this one by making a bet that whoever loses has to shave an eyebrow. The way the 49ers looked against the Packers, “all Russell Wilson everything” might want to start lining up barbers.
