PLAYERS: Joe Flacco
TEAMS: Baltimore Ravens
According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, before the Baltimore Ravens went on their Super Bowl run this past season, some teams were thinking about giving up two first round picks and signing quarterback Joe Flacco if the Ravens ended up placing the non-exclusive franchise tag on him. Some teams already were contemplating the possibility of making a run at Flacco in exchange for two first-round picks even before he put together a postseason that has put him at the pinnacle of his profession. There was a report this past week that the Ravens have been contimplating which franchise tag they’ll use on Flacco.  It sounds like they better use the exclusive franchise tag which will pay him $20 million in 2013, opposed to the non-exclusive which will pay him about $14 million and leave him available for other teams to sign.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script&...
