Found October 20, 2012 on NESN.com:
With Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb out for the season, the Ravens may be getting desperate on defense. NFL.com is reporting that Terrell Suggs will play on Sunday against the Texans after being activated from the physically unable to perform list. Suggs tore his right achilles tendon in May. Typical recovery time for a similar injury can be up to 11 months. Suggs only started practicing this week on his repaired tendon. A player can practice while on the PUP list for up to three weeks before they're activated or placed on injured reserve. Suggs had a career-best 14 sacks last season for the Ravens. With so many injuries on the Baltimore defense -- Ed Reed and Haloti Ngata are also banged up -- bringing Suggs back so soon may be viewed as a desperation move by the Ravens.

Ravens hope to stop the run against Texans...not an easy task

Rumors of OLB Terrell Suggs coming back from his Achilles rehab to bolster the Ravens' run defense against the Houston Texans are circulating around Baltimore and the NFL as of the Friday before game time. Personally I would not count on Suggs being even close to ready to be activated. But he did have a limited practice on Wednesday and another on Thursday. I guess we won'...

Monday musings: Joe Morgan’s touchdown, the Ravens fall flat, Chris Johnson’s breakout, and other things I noticed

Chris Johnson managed to get himself to the edge early in the game against the Bills showing nice burst to get an impressive touchdown. Baltimore Ravens at Houston Texans: Week 7 NFL Pick

Baltimore Ravens (5-1) at Houston Texans (5-1) This is a very interesting game for a number of reasons. The most obvious is Baltimore’s injuries. This line was at -4 a week ago, but because of Baltimore’s injuries, it’s shifted 3 points, even though Baltimore won and Houston got blown out at home. In spite of that, we still are getting a slight public lean on Houston. Houston...

Prediction Saturday: Ravens won’t be able to overcome injuries

When the schedule was released way back in April, I, along with quite a few others, circled this game on the schedule as a tough one for the Ravens. That was assuming good health for Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs, Ed Reed and Haloti Ngata among others. Now, this game could be a blowout. Fortunately for the Ravens, I don’t think they will get blown out. Joe Flacco and the offense play...
