According to Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net, both the Titans and Chargers are thinking about drafting Alabama offensive lineman D.J. Fluker in the first round of this week’s NFL draft. Last week we reported it looked very unlikely DJ Fluker/Alabama would make it out of the top half of round one. That was further confirmed today after sources told me the Tennessee Titans and San Diego Chargers, who own the 10th and 11th picks respectively, are both considering Fluker. At first glance Fluker-to-Tennessee seems a bit odd as their offensive line is in need of a guard. But sources tell me the Titans view Fluker as a day one starter at the guard position. I’m sure running back Chris Johnson wouldn’t mind the addition of a player like Fluker down in Tennessee, after complaining about the Titans’ line last year. Need NFL Tickets?

Alonso is versatile enough to play either play inside or outside depending style of defensive scheme. Figures to be an inside linebacker for a 3-4, and outside for a 4-3. He is a well-built prospect 6’4, 240, with good athleticism. Earned second team all-conference honors. He recorded 87 total tackles (62 solo, 25 assisted), including 16 tackles of loss, a sack, four interceptions...
Mississippi State’s Jonathan Banks was the winner of the 2012 Jim Thorpe Award and selected as a Walter Camp All-American. He is a tall, lean defensive back in the mold NFL team are looking for to guard the ever growing wide receivers. Has a similar build to Dominique Cromartie-Rodgers, however, may be better suited playing safety at the next level.
San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has been in one offensive system his entire NFL career, and for the first time as a rookie, he has to learn a new language.
Terminology is the single most important task for the quarterback in any system, if you can’t communicate the play correctly, then all is lost.
Rivers is in the middle of learning new coach Mike McCoy’s playbook...
West Virginia’s Tavon Austin is the most explosive wide receiver and return specialist in the 2013 NFL Draft. He is arguably in the top two at his position and easily the most polished. Austin in 2012 was selected to the First Team All Big East and Big East Special Teams Player of the Year.
Austin is undersized, but an elusive threat who figures to work...
Earlier this offseason it was reported that the Tennessee Titans were planning on trading wide receiver Nate Washington.
According to Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com, Titans’ general manager Ruston Webster told the media that they don’t plan on trading Washington.
Either Webster is lying, or the Titans haven’t found a trade partner yet.

On the Tennessee Titans' first day of workouts at Baptist Sports Park on Monday, something really stood out among players.
Kenny Britt looks to be recovered and ready to be a big contributor int he Titans offense after multiple knee surgeries last offseason. He also underwent two surgeries on the ACL he tore in September 2011. That's good news for the Titans, who sorely...
Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson has always had a lively personality and bold confidence. Today (April 24, 2013), CJ2K took it up a notch on Twitter and apparently tweeted out his real cell phone number asking for fans to call him. I haven’t called to see if it’s his real number, but according to the tweet below, it is.

NFL News: The San Diego Chargers have agreed to terms with fullback Chris Gronkowski. Chris played with the Denver Broncos after getting traded from the Colts in 2012. He caught just one pass for the Broncos and will likely struggle to make the final roster. He is a decent run blocker but is known to struggle in pass protection. The Chargers already have Le’Ron McClain as their...
After covering what the Titans might to at each position on offense in yesterday's post, it's time to turn my attention to the defensive side of the ball.
Before I launch into the position by position portion of this post, I want to stress two things I noted yesterday. First, this is a mini-evaluation of each position from the perspective of what the Titans might do in...
Left tackle? Left guard? Trade up? Trade down? Stay put?
So many questions for the San Diego Chargers' rookie brain trust, and so many ways they can go in the first round of the NFL draft Thursday night.
Even casual Chargers fans who saw Philip Rivers scrambling for his well-being all last season know San Diego desperately needs to upgrade the left side of its line, particularly...
I learned early on in my career from Bryant Young and Takeo Spikes. That keeping maintenance up on my body is 1 of the most important things I could do as an athlete. Thank you guys for that wisdom. Going into yr 7 and I’m at it after workouts today at “Elite chiropractic & Sports Clinic” in san jose with one of the best Dr. Harry Ho (certified ART/Graston) thanks Doc
