NFL Trade Rumors:
Joel Corry is reporting that the Washington Redskins are signing TE Logan Paulsen to a three-year contract extension.
Paulsen, 26, was reportedly a priority for the Redskins this offseason and, clearly, that appears to be the case. He was a restricted free agent, but Washington elected to work out a long-term versus applying a tender that most likely would have required one-year guaranteed salary of $2 million plus.
Last year, Paulsen was a very effective run-blocker for Washington, but wasn’t a big weapon in the teams passing attack.
We’ll have more on his contract when the figures become available.

Yesterday news emerged that the Skins have agreed to terms with four key players: left guard Kory Lichtensteiger, tight end Logan Paulsen, fullback Darrel Young and linebacker Rob Jackson.
Each player gives the team valuable skill...
Redskins Fans: If you could change one draft pick…what would that be?If you could go back in time, what is the one Redskins draft pick you would change?Every NFL team has their fair share of regrettable draft picks. According to Mike Jones of the Washington Post, as we get closer to the beginning of the new league year and the start of free agency, it’s “highly” likely” the Redskins will release cornerback DeAngelo Hall.
The Redskins as of Friday afternoon had yet to engage in talks to restructure the contract of the 10-year veteran, and team officials hadn’t offered any assurances...
The Washington Redskins traded their No. 6 first-round pick in last year’s Draft, their first-round pick this year and next year, and two second-round picks to trade up to No. 2 in the first round of last year in order to draft their franchise quarterback, Baylor University’s, and Heisman Trophy winner, Robert Griffin III.Franchises that get this pick right when they get the...
John Keim of the Washington Examiner tweets that free agent CB Derek Cox is one ”name to keep an eye on” for the Redskins next week.
Cox, 26, was clearly the Jaguars’ best cornerback last season, and at times played pretty well.
Washington needs to find upgrades for their secondary, so it’s not hard to see why they could have interest in Cox. The issue will obviously...
