Rex Ryan anticipates Tim Tebow will be ''ready to go'' in the New York Jets' next game against the Arizona Cardinals in spite of the backup quarterback's two broken ribs.
The Jets coach said Monday that the team will see how Tebow does during the week.
Tebow was in uniform but didn't play Thursday night in the Jets' 49-19 loss to the New England Patriots, with Ryan saying he could have played but would have been used only in an emergency. Tebow revealed after the game that he was injured two weeks ago at Seattle. Source: Associated Press Posted via Mobile Device Attached Thumbnails

Ryan: Jets' goal is to run the table
Rex Ryan is making no guarantees.
No wild predictions or brash declarations these days. But the Jets coach still believes his team has a shot at the playoffs.
That's despite the fact New York is 4-7, coming off an embarrassing loss to New England, and hasn't won two straight games all season.
Hardly the resume of a team with its sights set on playing past Week 17.

While none of the NFL coaches who have been on the hot seat since early October have been fired yet, the day is likely coming soon.
Look for Week 13 NFL specials at Bovada on the futures of a few of those coaches on the chopping block.
Among the coaches who will likely see their tenures end on “Black Monday,” the day after the regular season ends, there is no bigger name than...
New York Jets – Rex Won’t Break Link To Sanchez’s Failures
Anyone who has witnessed the Jets play over their first eleven games can attest to the fact that Mark Sanchez lacks a quality supporting cast and knows that Rex Ryan has tried in vain to talk up, and coach up an undermanned team. If the Jets tank at any point during the final stretch of five winnable games though, Ryan must acknowledge that part of the problem this season has been...
Rex 'cherishes' first NFL experience with Cardinals
Regardless of what you may think of Rex Ryan as head coach of the New York Jets, the guy has a pretty impressive coaching resume. Ryan went from a graduate assistant at Eastern Kentucky in the late 1980s to one of the best defensive coaches in the game leading the mid-2000 Baltimore Ravens' defense. A few years later, he's the lead guy for New York's green team. But Ryan...
Jets Fans Berate Team Heading to Locker Room at Halftime of Loss to Patriots on Thursday (Video)
It took a few days for this video to surface on the Internet, but it was well worth the wait.
Suffice to say, the second quarter of Thanksgiving Day’s 49-19 loss to the Patriots didn’t go well for the Jets. The Pats turned four Jets turnovers into touchdowns, and scored 35 points (all after a scoreless first quarter) to effectively seal the win before half of the game was even...

A collection of early thoughts on the New York Jets week 13 match-up against the Arizona Cardinals, where the over/under shouldn’t be higher than 10 points.
1. This has the potential to be an epically awful offensive football game. Rex Ryan’s defenses generally perform very well against rookies and inexperienced quarterbacks. Remember what they did to Andrew Luck earlier in...

Jets QB Greg McElroy Doesn't Expect To Receive Snaps In Practice This Week
Last week, as the Jets prepared for the Patriots on a short week and Tim Tebow dealt with a injury that he later learned was two fractured ribs, third-string quarterback Greg McElroy took no snaps at practice with the first team. His job, as it has been, was to prepare the defense for the opponent by mimicking their offense and quarterback.
It will still be his role this week as...
