Good news out of Washington Redskins headquarters as Robert Griffin III reaches another milestone in his superman recovery from an ACL injury suffered last season. Mike Jones of the Washington Post tells the Twitterverse that Griffin went through 3 straight days of cutting and changing directions, with absolutely no setbacks. Setbacks don't seem to be in his vocabulary so far in his rehab, and the coaching staff is so confident in his quick return that they aren't changing their game-planning as training camp and the season approach. Source says @RGIII this week went through 3 straight days of making cuts and changing direction. Knee responded well. No setbacks. #Redskins — Mike Jones (@MikeJonesWaPo) June 21, 2013 NFL.com's Chris Wesseling writes : ' Already running light sprints a month ago, Griffin graduated to three days of making cuts and changing direction this week, The Washington Post reports. Griffin's knee responded well and encountered no setbacks. A pair of checkups with Dr. James Andrews await Griffin in early July and just before training camp. Griffin recently predicted to NFL.com's Albert Breer that he would "without a doubt" be ready to join teammates for the start of camp. If Griffin takes the field in late July, it would put the star quarterback ahead of Peterson's 2012 pace in the running back's historic return from ACL surgery.
