According to ProFootballTalk.com, Redskins coach Mike Shanahan has confirmed that Robert Griffin III (knee) will start in Week 1 against the Eagles.Fantasy Spin:We already knew the quarterback had been cleared by Dr. James Andrews, but Shanahan waited on making the official announcement. Philadelphia has major defensive concerns and likely will be a bottom-five unit this season, so fantasy owners should have no qualms about starting Griffin Monday night.
