Wasn't Kellen Winslow supposed to be the soldier? Rob Gronkowski had a special celebration planned for the Patriots' trip to London. After his second-quarter touchdown reception, Gronk marched like a Buckingham Palace soldier and then sealed the celebration with his patented spike. Gronkowski came one-yard short of a touchdown earlier in the game and banged the turf with his fist when it wasn't ruled a score. Perhaps he was already looking forward to pleasing the British crowd with his Queen's Guard march. The Patriots' All-Pro tight end finished the game with eight receptions for 146 yards and two touchdowns. Gronk came to London with a reputation. During the Patriots' appearance at NFL FanFest on Saturday, the crowd began chanting, "spike the mic" -- and he complied. With Aaron Hernandez out on Sunday due to a setback with his ankle injury, Gronkowski was counted on early and often in New England's 45-7 victory over the Saints. The Patriots were able to exploit the Rams' lack of coverage skills in their safeties and linebackers. Take a look at Gronk's London-centric touchdown celebration in the video below.
